Here's a Brief Background About Me
Hello my name is Angel Gonzalez, and welcome to my website's about me page. My fascination with electronics started when I was about nine years old. The family TV set had DIED one day, and my mom had arranged for the TV repairman to come over and try to repair the set. I sat and watched the technician's every move, and asked many questions as he worked on our old Philco-Ford black and white tube set. Right then and there I knew I was hooked, and that's what I was going to do for a living when I got older. I started reading and researching as much as I could, and assembled a few simple experiment kits. I kept on learning through high school, and finally got my "formal" education at De Vry Technical Institute, at the Chicago, IL campus in 1982. Since then I've worked for various organizations. Starting out as an engineering technician for a small satellite receiver manufacturing company, then joining a "High-End" audio-video retailer (United Audio Centers) which is now a "Tweeter" owned company. Gained some experience on car stereo, and home audio there. Then I joined "Rent-A-Center" Corporation a nationally known rent-to-own business, in the U.S... There I gained knowledge in more audio, computers, video, and TV’s. Finally ending up at a well known advertising company (DDB Needham) doing maintenance and repairs on professional video and audio production gear, at their in-house facility, before having to relocate to Florida in the U.S... I've also done circuit design, and prototyping as well as consulting in a freelance capacity. I also build websites that work. Would you like to build a site like mine?
